1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains your rights regarding the cancellation of Finaap subscription services and our refund procedures. By subscribing to Finaap, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
Finaap operates on a subscription model. This policy applies to all subscription services.
2. Free Trial Period
Finaap may offer a free trial period for new users. During the free trial:
- You will have access to premium features at no cost
- No payment is required during the trial period
- You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan
3. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:
Option 1: Through Your Account Settings (Recommended)
- Log in to your Finaap account
- Navigate to Dashboard → Subscriptions
- Click "Manage Subscription" or "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
Option 2: Contact Support
Email us at support@finaap.com with:
- Your registered email address
- Subject line: "Subscription Cancellation Request"
- Your reason for cancellation (optional, helps us improve)
4. What Happens After Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Continued Access: You will retain access to your account until the end of your current billing period
- No Additional Charges: Your payment method will not be charged again after cancellation
- Data Retention: Your account and data will be preserved until your subscription expires
- Account Access: After the billing period ends, you will need to resubscribe to continue using Finaap
Note: Cancellation does not result in immediate termination of service. You continue to have access until your paid period expires.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your subscription purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund if:
- You have not used any premium features
- You submit a refund request within 14 days of purchase
Cooling-off refunds: If you qualify for a cooling-off refund, the full amount will be returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
5.2 General Refund Policy
Outside of the 14-day cooling-off period:
- No Partial Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods after the cooling-off period
- Service Issues: If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the service, contact us to discuss your options
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or duplicated, we will provide a full refund of the erroneous charge
5.3 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided in the following situations:
- You forgot to cancel before your subscription renewed
- You no longer need or want the service after the cooling-off period
- You failed to use the service during your billing period
- Your account was terminated due to violation of our Terms and Conditions

- Your registered email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request
- Any relevant transaction IDs or receipts
7. Refund Processing Time
Once your refund request is approved:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
- Other Methods: Processing times may vary by payment provider
Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may be affected by your bank or payment provider's processing procedures.
8. Changing Your Subscription
8.1 Upgrading
If you upgrade your subscription (e.g., from monthly to annual), the price difference will be prorated for the remainder of your current billing period.
8.2 Downgrading
If you downgrade your subscription, the change will take effect at the start of your next billing period. No refunds are provided for the difference.
9. Account Deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your account:
- First cancel any active subscription
- Navigate to Settings → Security → Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion by entering your email and typing "DELETE"
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, including transaction history, debt records, and reports, will be permanently deleted. Please export your data before deleting your account.
